On November 4, Hokusei Products of Japan announced a new partnership with Imperial Yeast, a leading and highly-respected producer of beer yeast based in Portland, Ore.
The alliance between the two companies was initially shared at a brewers’ seminar organized by Hokusei and taking place at Sakazuki Brewing in Tokyo. Initially, Hokusei shared important information about Oregon Fruit Products’ fruit for fermentation products. After discussing various fruit purees’ attributes and having Japanese brewers sample beers made with OFC’s purees, Hokusei revealed its new business venture with Imperial Yeast.
As Imperial Yeast’s Japanese agent, Hokusei will be responsible for marketing various yeast products to the Japanese brewing industry, as well as handling all customer service inquiries and providing Japanese-language technical documents related to yeast use.
Hokusei is honored to enter this relationship with Imperial Yeast, and looks forward to expanding the Japanese market for its products.
