Fuji to Hood, one of the most popular festivals celebrating Oregon-Japan ties, is returning to Portland on July 18 (Sat).

At its heart a beer festival, Fuji to Hood has strengthened ties between Oregon and Japan by featuring numerous beers and ciders that are the result of in-depth collaborations among Oregon and Japanese brewers. All beers and ciders served include a Japanese ingredient, which lends to the uniqueness of the festivals offerings.

In addition, Fuji to Hood honors the bonds between Oregon and Japan by showcasing Japanese cuisine, music, craftsmanship, and traditional performative and martial arts. In addition, Japanese-inspired cocktails and wine made by a Japanese winemaker in Oregon will be available.

Because of Fuji to Hood’s in role bringing Oregon and Japan together, staff from Hokusei’s headquarters office in Japan are planning to attend.

The event will take place from on July 18 from 11AM – 8PM at The Redd on Salmon venue space (831 SE Salmon St, Portland, OR 97214). Entry is free and children are welcome. To buy beer and cider tickets, please go to www.fujitohood.com
