Last month, two Hokusei Products (Japan) staff members made the trip to Oregon to take part in a number of meetings, as well as attend the biennial Fuji to Hood (www.fujitohood.com) festival.
The Hokusei Products team arrived just as the Fuji to Hood events were kicking off, and were able to see just how the highly-popular festival was organized. Importantly, due to the presence of many Japanese brewers attending the festival, the Hokusei Products employees were able to meet with existing puree-buying customers and were introduced to potential new customers.
Aside from attending the festival, the Hokusei Products delegation also attended a number of meetings with business partners in Oregon, including Oregon Fruit, Imperial Yeast, and the Portland Japanese Garden.
