On April 22, Hokusei Products (Japan) and Hokusei North America President Shotaro Tomita met with the King Carl and Queen Silvia of Sweden in Tokyo. The Royal Swedish couple visited Japan to commemorate 150 years of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Japan.
King Carl asked some questions on ICEBUG shoes.
President Tomita was invited to meet with the king and queen in recognition of Hokusei’s business activities in Sweden. In 2010, Hokusei established Hokusei Europe AB in Sweden, and since then has been promoting and exporting Swedish-made products, such as traffic reflectors, winter boots, and environmentally friendly trays to the Japanese market.
It was an honor to meet the royal couple, and Hokusei looks forward to helping build continued warm relations between Sweden and Japan.
