Later this month, key personnel from Hokusei Products, Hokusei North America’s Japanese parent company will make a week-long visit to Oregon. Visiting from Japan, Hokusei’s CEO Shotaro Tomita will be accompanied by Yurie Wata, Hokusei’s manager 0verseeing trading partnerships with Oregon companies.

While in Oregon, the Hokusei Products team will meet with its existing business partners in the Greater Portland area, including those in the consumer products industries, such as beer and gifts.
During the same visit to Oregon, the Mr. Tomita and Ms. Wata will also visit a number of organizations operating in the electronics and high tech fields, to explore potential trade oppoortunities.
And while in Portland, the Hokusei Products visitors will attend the retirement celebration for Steve Bloom, the outgoing CEO of the Portland Japanese Garden, one of Hokusei’s most important trade clients.
