Given the Oregon-Toyama sister state status, Governor Niita stated that one of his key goals is greater collaboration between the two regions.  To this end, Mr. Mokudai invited Governor Nitta to visit Oregon in the Fall of 2021.  And, on behalf of Hokusei North America, Mr. Tomita expressed his commitment to help achieve the governor’s goals.

As 2021 will be the 30th anniversary of the Oregon’s sister state relationship with Toyama, we are especially looking forward to meeting with Governor Niita on the Oregon side of the Pacific next year.
