On Feb 23, 2022, Hokusei North America staff participated in a food & beverage B2B networking session hosted by Prosper Portland, the City of Portland’s economic and urban development agency.
The on-line event was organized as a way for mainly Oregon- and Japan-based food manufacturers/producers to introduce their products to a variety of supermarket buyers, marketers, and importers.
The event was successful in joining nearly 70 food & beverage manufacturers with over 30 buyers and marketers. During the 2 hour session, participants were able to give sales pitches extolling their products, or ask questions to inquire further about those products.
Hokusei North America staff on the call were able to share Hokusei’s mission and services, and were able to speak directly with manufacturers holding potential to be traded between Oregon and Japan. We look forward to participating in more such events in the future, as they always hold the promise of opening new doors and creating new business relationships.
